Transforming neighborhood spaces and using gardening to educate, unify, and improve community wellness.

Ebonie Randle is a ground-engaged community advocate and social entrepreneur committed to “Growing The Garden Of Community.” As the mother of two special needs children in a neighborhood with limited exposure to the value of eating home grown food, and as a long-time resident of Cleveland’s Historic Brooklyn Centre Community, Ebonie was inspired to create a space where all types of families could be educated about health and build community.

Ebonie is the Founding Director of Shalom & Tranquility Garden Network and works as Lead Farmer at Shalom & Tranquility Community Garden. She is one of the founding Members of the Brooklyn Centre Community Collective, Clark Fulton Together Masterplan Resident Ambassador, and Advocate in the City of Cleveland’s Disability Community. Ebonie was recognized by The Cleveland Public Library as a 2022 Martin Luther King Jr. “Unsung Hero.” She enjoys sharing her love for growing food with students in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
