Usha Nair has contributed significantly to including women’s voices in meeting the challenges of climate change as Vice President of the All India Women’s Conference (AIWC), New Delhi. Through AIWC, she has organized programs across India to address issues of climate change, clean energy, safe drinking water, and menstrual hygiene, while being an active member of the Women and Gender Constituency. Under the constituency and through the Global Call for Climate Justice they have organised 37 programs across India while engaging regularly with climate activists across the globe to advance learning and to share best practices for climate action.
