Specializing in the education and assistance of indigenous Rimba people.
Tri Astuti is passionate about justice for indigenous women in Indonesia. She is a volunteer teacher at Sokola Institute, a nonprofit organization specializing in the education and assistance of indigenous people in Indonesia. In 2014, she joined the Sokola Institute in Jambi to teach Rimba children from Sokola Perempuan Rimba. In 2016, she was assigned by the Sokola Institute to teach at Sokola Kaki Gunung, Jember, where she is currently in charge of teaching children and parents about the coffee farming community at the foot of Mountain Argopuro, Jember.
She participated in the International Conference on the History of Medicine in Southeast Asia (HOMSEA) in Siem Reap, Cambodia in 2016, where she talked about traditional Rimba medicine and the health system for pregnant women in Rimba.
Mengkhususkan diri dalam pendidikan dan pendampingan masyarakat adat Rimba.
Tri Astuti sangat menyukai keadilan bagi perempuan adat di Indonesia. Dia adalah guru relawan di Sokola Institute, sebuah organisasi nirlaba yang mengkhususkan diri pada pendidikan dan pendampingan masyarakat adat di Indonesia. Pada tahun 2014, ia bergabung dengan Sokola Institute di Jambi untuk mendidik anak-anak Rimba dari Sokola Perempuan Rimba. Pada tahun 2016, ia ditugaskan oleh Sokola Institute untuk mengajar di Sokola Kaki Gunung, Jember, tempat ia saat ini bertugas mendidik anak-anak dan dewasa tentang komunitas petani kopi di kaki Gunung Argopuro, Jember.
Dia berpartisipasi dalam International Conference on the History of Medicine in Southeast Asia (HOMSEA) di Siem Reap, Kamboja pada tahun 2016, di mana dia berbicara tentang pengobatan tradisional Rimba dan sistem kesehatan untuk wanita hamil di Rimba.
